Review and Self Assessment My understanding and perspective of technology and design in education evolved throughout the course. In education we work towards creating opportunities for students to engage in the learning process. Technology is an exciting tool to engage in the interest of learning and the pride of creating a product. This course provided a variety of software applications that can be used in the classroom. Learning new software was at times difficult but became easier as I viewed and attempted operations. The experience of learning these programs has given me the confidence to continue to better my skills and bring these applications into a classroom. Projects that I submitted began to take on a classroom focus. The projects could be used as a teaching tool or as way to demonstrate evidence of learning. Video assignment  Journal The video that I am creating is going to be an instructional video for the sport of wrestling. The first day I had a colleague film using two cameras. I had one camera on a tripod and one as a handhold. It was handy having the story board, we shot six shoulder shots in role that will be placed at diff...
Blog 12 Shot Cut training was more difficult to follow then the Lynda made courses. I found a huge difference in the scaffolding. The Shot Cut tutorials didn't cover some essential parts for me, one being how to save a project. I found the tutorials jumped around from one area to another. It did give me enough of a start that I could navigate the software a bit. I found that needed to go to additional forums to find specific needed information. I am looking forward to the video creation but am less excited to use a different software.
