Hello, I hope all is well for you all. I'd like to take this opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Callam Olver, I live in Prince Albert with my lovely wife Laura and our three daughters Teagan, Petra and Nixie. I have made a professional as a teacher for the past ten years, working in Saskatchewan. Currently I teach grade nine math at St. Mary High School and work as the Aboriginal Education consultant for the Prince Albert Catholic School Division. The past two years I have been furthering my education. I have learnt along side a very hip cohort working toward an additional qualification in industrial arts. In these applied arts course I have enjoyed learning by doing, demonstrating and creating. My knowledge of technology has been mostly focused around office work and communication. My favorite area of technology is working with photo and video editors. It was interesting setting up this blog this evening. I was surprised to see that I had a forgotten blogs on this site. One was made for my first teaching position at St. Walburg school in grade four. Perhaps that's a good sign that there is other neat treasures yet to uncover.

| One of my favorite activities is riding bikes and canoeing, here I get to do both. |

Hey Cal, that is a pretty slick looking canoe setup. With our new found welding skills I would like to build something similar for our kayak.
ReplyDeleteIs that picture from up at Candle Lake?
Really digging' the bike, man. Who is in the wagon?
ReplyDeleteMy youngest daughter Nixie is riding in the bike trailer.
Deleteits always funny to look through the old blogs, its a regular occurrence in these classes. Thanks for being in the class and welcome. I love your canoe hauler! I hope you enjoy Gimp as it is the free equivalent to Photoshop which has since become nearly unaffordable to schools. Cant wait to see what else you have to show us in the class!
ReplyDeleteCheers
